WHO WE ARE
Charlotte Track Club, Inc. (501(c)(3) is a volunteer based non-profit organization that centers around running. Our Mission is to help foster a more active and healthy Charlotte by providing programs, events, and activities that improve family life.

9:00 am Long Jump
9:30 am 4 x 100m Relay
10:00 am 800m Run
10:00 am High Jump
10:30 am 100m Dash
11:00 am 400m Dash
11:30 am 1 Mile Run
12:00 pm Co-Ed 4 x 200m Relay
1:00 pm Triple Jump
1:30 pm 200m Dash
2:30 pm 4 x 400m Relay
** We will only have 3 field events this year - Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump**
ABOUT THE MEET
The Queen City Classic Track Meet, hosted by the Charlotte Track Club, has grown into one of the region’s signature community track events, reflecting Charlotte’s strong and evolving running culture. Established to provide a high-quality, locally accessible competition for runners of all levels, the meet was designed to bring together athletes ranging from youth and recreational runners to elite competitors in a fun, inclusive, and competitive environment.
Over the years, the Queen City Classic has become a staple of the summer track season in Charlotte, offering a professionally organized meet experience with a wide range of events, from sprints and distance races to relays and field events. The event emphasizes community engagement, athlete development, and fostering a love for track and field, while also serving as a platform for local clubs, coaches, and runners to connect.
Through consistent growth and strong community support, the meet has helped elevate the visibility of track and field in the Charlotte area, reinforcing the Charlotte Track Club’s mission to promote health, fitness, and competitive opportunities for runners across the region.
